Good Bye 2020

Good Bye 2020

What a year! Seriously. Good riddance, sayonara, adios, GOOD BYE. However it’s said best, I’m a bit salty. I can say with confidence that this has been the worst year of my life. My heart has broken so many times. For so many reasons. For so many people. I don’t know anyone who hasn’t endured some form of hardship over the last year. So, so much disappointment. While there’s nothing that could ever ease the blow there, I’m sending huge virtual hugs out to every single one of you!

The statement that sums up our 2020 best, is “WHAT in the world?!” and as far as our thoughts… well, I’ll just leave this visual right here! haha

good bye 2020

As my dad always jokes, you have to laugh to keep from crying!

For those of you who aren’t familiar with our story, in February we discovered we had been living in incredibly toxic mold for almost two years. Countess mystery health issues, finally explained. To prioritize our families health, we decided to relocate back to Texas. We’re working with several specialists and healing has been our primary focus since.

While it was an incredibly excruciating year, I still CHOOSE to see the good. It may be much harder to grasp at times, but I’m hopeful. I’ve always been a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and somehow, after everything we’ve been thru, I still do. For us, 2020 was a year full of learning, uncomfortable growth and healing. Though it’s still very much a work in progress, we will have our health and we will recover stronger and more knowledgable than ever.

For a while now, I’ve been doing what I needed to, but I’m eager to start doing more of what I love again! As we rebuild our lives here in Texas, I will also begin to reestablish Savvy Images where it all began ten years ago. I will be looking to work with fun new clients and even collaborate with other professionals. In order to get my creative juices running full speed again, I’m looking forward to sitting up several styled sessions in the coming months. 2020 may have been the worst, but I have high expectations for all the wonderful things to come in 2021!!

I hope each of your new years are filled with love, laughter, joy, good health, prosperity, and an abundance of all the wonderfulness you can possibly handle. If you’re interested in working together or finding out more about Savvy Image’s styled photo shoots, please be sure to subscribe to our mailing list right away.
